 The Gala was held at the RSM in Casino....a great venue, made more amazing by the array of lovely ladies (that's us!) bedeecked in our finery and very creative "spring" themed hats

"Spring into Summer", Casino NSW 2012

We had a fabulous time when we attended the "Spring into Summer" gathering hosted by the Sassy Cassies (2nd to 4th November 2012).
Queens Janet and Dianne and their whole team of helpers really went all out to make us feel warmly welcomed, and it was a fun and friendly affair from start to finish.
We started off with a Meet & Greet cocktail party on the Friday evening at the RSM, having earlier registered and browsed the Traders stalls and purchased raffle tickets.
This was a good chance to catch up with some familiar faces from past Giggles, and to try and locate our "mate" from the Colour Song Match game.
On Saturday morning, buses picked us up from our motel and we travelled to Grafton where we looked around the local craft markets and the lovely town. The jacarandas were in full bloom, and the avenues of these magnificent trees lining almost every street in town did not disappoint!
Loaded down with shopping bags, we returned that afternoon in time to dress for the Gala, which was again held at the RSM.
A lot of work had gone into transforming the venue into a spring theme. Every table boasted floral centrepieces with little birds or butterflies. Some of the hats were true works of art, and of course everyone looked stunning in their red and purple BEST!
We were sad to miss the final breakfast and skits on Sunday morning, as we had to leave early, but we did console ourselves by calling into Nimbin on the way home for breakfast.
A great time was had by all at the gathering. The Sassy Cassies are to be congratulated!

It was a lovely relaxed gathering of ten Sweet Hearts at DL Coffee today. The food was delicious, especially the yummy homemade desserts!

We were very pleased to be able to repay the favour, as the proprietors decorated their coffee shop in redhat colours of purple and red during our Giggle in July

Lunch with Classic Ladies at Mooloolaba TAFE 25/10/12

The Sugartown Sweet Hearts were invited to join in to a lunch held at Mooloolaba TAFE. Princess Pammie, Queen B, Princess Sweet Pea, Lady Patrizia Pinot Noir and Lady Carolyn attended the event and mingled happily with Queen Denise and her ladies.

On October 18th 2012 the Sugartown Sweet Hearts of Nambour celebrated their 5th Birthday with a party at the newly refurbished function rooms at the "Big Pineapple" at the Sunshine Coast. About 50 ladies attended this event with invited guests from the Sunshine Sistas, Bling Babes, Caloundra Purple Cherries , the Classic Ladies and Red'n'Purple Ragers.

During the event, Queen B and Vice Queen, Lady Baileys over Ice inducted three new Vice Queens for the chapter.

Princess Sweet Pea, Lady Jazz'n'Shiraz and the Marchionness of Merlot are all well deserving of their new roles of Vice Queens, having been instrumental in organising our very successful "Heart to Heart" Giggle in July this year.

In July 2012, the Sugartown Sweet Hearts of Nambour hosted a "Heart to Heart Giggle for 250 Red Hat ladies from all over Queensland and beyond
