 Fifteen SweetHearts made the trip up to Flaxton to attend a dinner at the French Restaurant, La Relais Bressan. As usual, we were a splash of colour and laughter in our red and purple regalia.

We had a very lively lunch at the Noosa Yacht Club organised by Lesley aka Jackie aka Adelaide. We welcomed five new ladies who are interested in joining our group....they seemed to enjoy the camaraderie of the group and I have a feeling we'll be seeing them again!

We were photographed by a roving reporter for a local Sunshine Coast Newspaper, no doubt attracted to our presense by the laughter and chatter as well as our colourful presence.

We didn't let the wet weather on the "Sunshine" Coast get in the way of a good party, which was held at the home of Baroness Brandy "A" (instead of Maroochy Bushland Gardens)

Judi went to a lot of trouble decorating her home in Australian theme, as did all the attendees in their best Aussie garb.

We had a lovely evening at the Woomby Pub with 16 Sweet Hearts, including a couple of new ladies, Cherry and Sandra.

The food was really delicious (especially dessert!!) As usual lots of laughter and happy socialising as people caught up after the Christmas break.

Coffee'n'Chat morning tea at Empire Organics, Nambour 14/01/13

Eight ladies met at the cooffe shop at 2 Mitchell St, Nambour for our first Coffee'n'Chat session of the year. This event will be a regular feature on our lunch/morning tea/dinner calendar for the year. Queen Mother Susan will share the responsibility of co-ordinating the morning tea session with Glyneth, Grand Duchess Guinevere.

It was certainly a rowdy, happy get together (and not even any alcohol involved!) and a good chance to move around and get to know people better.

A big welcome to "new recruit" Cherry. She seemed to fit right in. We hope she will come and join us again.

Annual planning 2013meeting

The annual planning meeting was held at Queen B's home on Saturday 5th January 2013. We have brainstormed some great ideas for activities for our extra events Calendar for 2013.
After the meeting we relaxed and had a pot luck lunch and a good chin wag. It was fun to re-connect after our Christmas break
