Friday 24th July Brisbane Giggle

We're off to the Brisbane Giggle for a 10th Birthday Party

Ten lovely Sunshine Sirens ladies headed down to Brisbane to attend the 10th Giggle hosted by Queen Michelle and the Magnificent Mesmerising M'Ladies. Friday night's event after signing in to our hotels (We stayed at the Ibis) was a kids birthday party. We all came dressed in red with a special party hat that we'd made.

Dinner at Hotel Maroochydore

Chris organised dinner at the Maroochydore Hotel the night before the Brisbane Giggle. The Sunshine Sirens officially welcomed Sally and LeighAnne as members of our group, and Sally won the lucky door prize for the evening.

Carolyn organised lunch at Hot Pippis at Mooloolaba for our July get together. Although it was a rather chilly day, there was a lot of warm friendship and laughter shared.

Lunch at Outback Jack's in Nambour Thursday 11th June

Sue organised lunch at Outback Jack's for us

It was a cold and miserable day in Nambour on Thursday, so the Scavenger Hunt that Sue had prepared for the day was abandoned for another time. Some ladies did manage to fit in a bit of op-shopping before gathering at Outback Jack's for a very pleasant meal and catch-up. Lesley brought along a new lady, Ronnie who may be interested in joining our group.

Pizza and Pasta in Mapleton

Barb organised this lovely evening out at Bella Vista Italian Pizza and Pasta Restaurant in Mapleton. Eight ladies braved a cold evening for a fun night of friendly chatter and good food.

Hat Making for the Giggle Saturday 23rd May

Making hats at Maroochy Cabin Village

Many thanks to Carolyn for allowing us to use the recreation room at her Resort Village to make our hat boxes for the upcoming Giggle. She also kindly supplied a lovely morning tea to keep us going while we worked. Hats are now done for all participants....bring on the Giggle!
