Caloundra Giggle 2016

The Caloundra Giggle was a fantastic event!!

Queen Mum Kool Jool and her Red'n'Purple Ragers outdid themselves with an amazing Giggle that will be very hard to top. Not only was it the biggest ever Giggle with more that 464 Red hat ladies registered to attend....it was also full of exciting surprises and "Wow!" moments.
The Gala  roaring twenties themed event on Saturday was the pinnacle....pretty much faultless. Great décor including vintage cars and fabulously decorated room, great entertainment by The Baby Boomers and great food too....we all loved it!
We especially enjoyed spending time together in Caloundra...breakfast at a riverside restaurant set us up for the day, and it just went on from there.

14th July 2016 Morning tea at Geordie Lane

Geordie Lane Antiques Sirens morning tea

Eight Sirens braved a cold morning to venture up the mountain to Geordie Lane Antiques on the Maleny/Montville Road in the Hinterland.
It is an amazing little place full of Antique bric-a-brac and had a lovely wood burning fireplace that we huddled around to warm up.
Morning tea was a very delicious affair. Most people had either the savoury or blueberry scones, and some had raspberry & macadamia slice or shortbread, but no-one was disappointed with their food.

June 23rd 2016 Dinner at Mach Pichu, Maroochydore

Dinner at Machu Pichu restaurant, Maroochydore

The red hat dinner at Machu Pichu restaurant at Ocean Street at Maroochydore on Thursday 23rd June was well attended by our red hatted sirens. It was a lovely evening with lots of yummy food and drinks and happy chatter.
Maggie brought along her gentleman friend who she met on her recent European trip.
