Off to the movies : "Song for Marion"

For this Comedy....bring tissues!!

Seven Sweet Hearts met at the Sunshine Plaza cinemas for a cheap Tuesday movie. We went to British comedy "Song for Marion" starring Terence Stamp, Vanessa Redgrave and Gemma Arterton.
We laughed.....and we cried.
It was the kind a real drama that the Brits do so well. You couldn't help but be invested .....and reach for the tissues when it became very moving.

A quick coffee before the movie starts
Lining up for our "cheap Tuesday " tickets
Princess Pammie clearly very excited to be going to the movies
Lady Belle, Countess of Craft....lived up to her name with her crafty decorated beret
We loved the movie. Do go if you can.
We cheered ourselves up after the movie with lunch at the Shingle Inn

Those Dashing Young Ladies in their Flying Machines!

Jan and Judith take to the skies..........

There's no stopping these two daring Vice Queens. They're busy working on crossing things off their Bucket List, and there's just no telling what they'll do next!
After swanning off to Hawaii on a lovely little getaway, it was time to move on to other challenges....so they donned their goggles a la "Biggles" and went up for a jaunt in a plane. See pictures below.

We won't let it rain on our picnic!

Princess Sweet Pea warded off the rain by sticking a knife in the ground and announcing that fine weather would prevail.....and it did! Well almost. A few gusts of wind and a few scuds of rain didn't deter our determined Sweet Hearts from enjoying good food, good company and a few laughs together.
