Queen KoolJool and her Red'n'Purple Ragers ladies hosted a fabulous Christmas lunch today for a large number of red hatters from all around the local area and beyond. As we've come to expect...it was a well organised event, well attended and enjoyed by all. Lots of the ladies threw themselves into dressing for the Christmas theme, with many very creative hats and outfits on show.

Our regular lunch for November was held at The Boatshed at Cottontree. What a lovely venue and glorious weather! Eighteen ladies attended, including some guests: Queen Joan, Maggie (from the Sweet Hearts) and new girl to red hatting, Lorraine.
It was great to catch up with everyone before some of the ladies head off on their New Guinea boat cruise. Also the food was just wonderful. A great day out.

The Coronation of Queen Sandi

The Sunshine Sirens'  Queen Sandi is crowned!

More than sixty ladies including Queens and their Vice Queens from around the Sunshine Coast area gathered on Thursday 23rd October to attend the Coronation of our lovely Queen Sandi.
It was a glittering event in every way. Queen KoolJool performed the ceremony and Queen Nettie welcomed Queen Sandi to the Queens of the North group and read the poem "Warning" to us all. The pictures below show what a happy friendly occasion it truly was.
