Gympie Gaggle Sunday 14th September

Farewell Gympie.....

Our last day at the Gaggle. It has been wonderful and a real credit to the Gympie Girls for their efforts. They've set the bar very high for future events! The Sirens had a great time together and very much enjoyed mingling with and meeting many other Red Hatters from different chapters.

Gympie Gaggle Saturday 13th September

It's Hollywood at the Gympie Gaggle

We had a great day on Saturday at the Gaggle. After a continental brekkie at the Convention Centre, we all piled on to two coaches and wove through Gympie picking up Red Hatters who were staying at various motels before heading to Pomona.
At Pomona we went firstly to the Majestic Theatre to watch a few black and white silent movies to the accompaniment of a live organ player.
Then we headed back into Pomona to shop/browse the markets and eat. We had lunch at the Pomona Hotel.
That night we all dressed up in Hollywood Glamour or movie costumes and went to the Gala night. Fabulous fun! Especially getting driven around in the stretch limo!
