Saturday 25th July Brisbane Giggle 2015

Hokey Pokey in Queen Street Mall with 400 red hatters

Saturday was a very full day. We found our own breakfast place and then wandered into Queen Street Mall for a look around and shop before all 400 red hatters converged for a "flashmob" performance of the Hokey Pokey which was filmed by Channel Seven news. After that we went to City Hall for aa elegant High Tea and organ recital.
Some of the girls then went over to Southbank to ride the Wheel of Brisbane, while the Queen and Vice Queens met for afternoon tea at the Mercure.
Back to our hotel room to get costumed up for the "P" party. We looked fabulous in our Pirate costumes! There were a large variety of interpretations of "P" costumes. A fun night of dancing followed.

 

 

 

Friday 24th July Brisbane Giggle

We're off to the Brisbane Giggle for a 10th Birthday Party

Ten lovely Sunshine Sirens ladies headed down to Brisbane  to attend the 10th Giggle hosted by Queen Michelle and the Magnificent Mesmerising M'Ladies. Friday night's event after signing in to our hotels (We stayed at the Ibis) was a kids birthday party. We all came dressed in red with a special party hat that we'd made.

Dinner at Maroochydore Hotel Thursday 23rd July 2015

Dinner at Hotel Maroochydore

Chris organised dinner at the Maroochydore Hotel the night before the Brisbane Giggle. The Sunshine Sirens officially welcomed Sally and LeighAnne as members of our group, and Sally won the lucky door prize for the evening.

Lunch at Hot Pippis, Mooloolaba

Carolyn organised lunch at Hot Pippis at Mooloolaba for our July get together. Although it was a rather chilly day, there was a lot of warm friendship and laughter shared.
